108 Random Math Students Qualified for AIME
The American Invitational Mathematics Exam (AIME) is an annual competition held only for the top 2.5% of AMC 10 students. It is a 3 hour, 15 question, short answer computational test.
We’ve grown from a single qualifier in 2017 to 108 in just 4 years! 108 out of 125 students at Random Math qualified for AIME this year -giving us a result densityof 86% for the November 2021 exam
Next year, we aim to have 150 Random Math students qualify for AIME.
In 2018, 7th grader Nilay Mishra qualified for the USA(J)MO. The following year, in 2019, that number doubled to 2. The number of Random Math students qualifying for USA(J)MO increased to 10 and this year we have 16 students who qualified for USA(J)MO.
Top scorers in the USA(J)MO are invited to the Math Olympiad Program (MOP), from which the U.S. IMO team is selected. Two of our students made it to the Math Olympiad Summer Program (MOP) in 2021.
The USA(J)MO is the third test in a series of exams used to challenge bright students on the path toward choosing the team that represents the United States at the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO). This year, 16 Random Math students have qualified for the USA Mathematics Olympiad.
The USA(J)MO is an intensive test lasting 9 hours in total, split between 2 days. There are a total of 6 proof - based questions to be answered in that time.

The AMC 10 and 12 are a 25-question, 75-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills.
A total of 115 Random Math students won an award at the AMC 10/12, out of which 108 qualified for the AIME.

This year 115 out of 125 students won awards at AMC10/AMC12, out of which 108 qualified for the AIME.
Additionally, 34 Random Math middle schoolers were recognized in the Achievement Roll,rewarding the top middle school performers on the AMC 10/12 in the nation.
AMC 10/12 historical results: 48 Random Math students were among the top 1% of AMC 10/12 test-takers.
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills.
AMC 8 is a national-level middle school math contest, and Random Math students have continuously excelled in it.
The AMC 8, hosted by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), is the middle school version of the AMC 10, which is the first of tests in deciding the U.S. IMO team.
In 2020, 1 student (Ishani Agarwal) scored a perfect score, 14 students made it to the top 1% of AMC 8 participants, out of which 1 student had a perfect score. An additional 25 students made it into the Honor Roll and 23 were in the Achievement Roll
MATHCOUNTS is a national program that provides students in grades 6-8 the opportunity to compete in live, in-person contests against and alongside their peers.

The MATHCOUNTS competition is held annually at school, chapter, state, and national levels. Each year, hundreds of thousands of students participate in this fast-paced competition.
The state competition in 2020 was canceled. In 2019, 4 of our students were among the top 16 competitors to participate in the Countdown Round, and 2 of these students were top 10 finishers.

Exeter Math 2020
The EMCC is one of the most prestigious middle-school competitions in the world - it is held at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire.
Our students received high ranks on individual and team contests.
