  • Live and love the culture of co-opetition
  • Develop a lifelong association with math

Engaged Campers

Frequently Asked Questions

Is an assessment required for my child to join summer camps?

Yes, a qualitative assessment helps us understand student’s goals from the program, her/his motivation level, and current proficiency in problem solving and mathematics.

This also helps us identify a suitable class placement for the student and to provide recommendations for future growth and development of the prospective student.

Will my child have access to lecture recordings if he/she misses a day?

To respect the privacy of our coaches and other students, Random Math does not grant access to lecture recordings.

All students will have access to the coach's daily lecture notes. If your child is absent on any day, he or she should reference the notes to catch up on the material.

Why are there two different sessions for one day?

Each session runs with a different goal in mid. In the morning sessions, our coaches teach students new mathematical concepts. In the afternoons, students practice contest problems to refine their competitive math skills. Students must attend both sessions.

Can I withdraw my child while the camp is in session?

You may withdraw your child and discontinue from Random Math. Standard refund policy and general policy will apply. Please refer to our policies or contact us for details.
