I am an incoming student at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science, where I plan to study computer science.
I am interested in pursuing either research or opportunities in the startup space, driven by my passion for mathematics and its applications in computer science. I chose this path because of the immense potential to make an impact through technology and the abundance of opportunities to innovate and build meaningful systems.
I studied at Random Math from 4th grade through 10th grade, where I developed a strong foundation in problem-solving and mathematical thinking. In addition to being a student, I served as a Teaching Assistant for accelerator classes and taught at Random Math summer camps, covering competitive topics such as Geometry, Algebra, Counting & Probability, and Number Theory.
I also competed in team-based math competitions, earning 5th place at the Berkeley Math Tournament. Beyond academics, Random Math played an important role in my personal journey—I even met my current college roommate through the program. Many of the concepts taught in undergraduate mathematics courses, such as discrete math, were introduced through Random Math and applied in problem-solving contexts, giving me a strong head start and a solid foundation for my later coursework.
