I am currently a sophomore at UC Berkeley, double majoring in Bioengineering and Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (EECS). While I initially fell in love with the thrill of competitive math, my true passion lies in health-tech applications. I am currently interested in applying mathematical models and computer science tools to therapeutics and synthetic biology.
I’ve participated in the AMC series from AMC 8 to AMC 12 and qualified for the AIME four times, achieving a highest score of 6.
I joined Random Math in 7th grade, which was instrumental in my academic journey. It exposed me to vital problem-solving skills applicable to various areas of my life and helped me gain confidence in pursuing STEM, thanks to the supportive community of peers and staff.
During COVID, I co-led a class for younger students aged 7-10. We covered a wide range of topics, including factoring and dividing polynomials, similar and right triangles, and counting and probability.
