Shreya Majumdar
"I am currently a student at Cornell University studying Math and CS because I am passionate about the intersection between these fields. In particular, fields such as AI fascinate me because they new ways to model and understand complex problems in different areas, such as climate and finance.
I am a International Mathematical Modeling Challenge Finalist, 3-time AIME qualifier, Math Prize for Girls invitee, and a finalist at Girls in Math at Yale. I was a 4x AIME qualifier and 3x Math Prize for Girls qualifier. Aside from math competitions, I attended Canada/USA Mathcamp for two years, and I also qualified for the USACO Gold Division.
Random Math has supported me in my math journey by giving me the tools and confidence to succeed in top math competitions and beyond. After being a student, I worked as a teaching assistant for 2 years, leading Accelerator practice sessions and teaching the Precalculus class at RMXplore.
Currently, I am an assistant coach teaching the Algebra I class. This past year, I worked with Janelle Cai to present the Girls in Math Webinar series and developed content for the OMT IV and Prealgebra RMXplore classes."
