"I am a freshman at UCLA, majoring in Computer Science as a Regents Scholar. My interest in Computer Science was inspired by my interest in math and problem solving as I find these two subjects to be very interconnected.
I’ve qualified for the USAJMO once and AIME six times. I placed 6th in the Combinatorics round at the Stanford Math Tournament. In 8th grade, I placed 6th at Nor-Cal Mathcounts State and was awarded the top female at the competition.
I’ve been studying at Random Math since fifth grade. When I joined Random Math, I just had an interest in math. Random Math taught me work ethic and discipline, introduced and prepared me for math competitions, and made me like math even more. Random Math also allowed me to meet others interested in math, many of whom became role models and friends.
I taught at Random Math during high school, ranging from AMC 8 to early AIME preparation classes."
