"I'm currently a sophomore studying Computer Science and Math at MIT. While the thrill of problem-solving was what first drew me to math, what I enjoy most about CS and Math is the process of being able to break down a seemingly complicated problem into smaller, more manageable subtasks and devising creative ways to solve the problems. In my future, I hope to apply CS and Math to solve tangible real-world problems.
I was a 4x AIME qualifier and 3x Math Prize for Girls qualifier. Aside from math competitions, I attended Canada/USA Mathcamp for two years, and I also qualified for the USACO Gold Division.
I began studying at Random Math as a freshman in 2019, and I continued studying there until 2022. Random Math has an amazing community and supportive culture, and this really pushed me to always work hard and keep trying, even when I faced challenges. I enjoyed going to class and working on challenging problems with my peers each week, and Random Math was what ultimately got me so interested in competition math throughout high school.
Over the summer, I helped run a Girls in Math Webinar for Random Math. I'm currently an Assistant Coach at Random Math, and I am coaching the Newton class. I also coached Level D and E during Summer 2023, and I led the Level 6 Accelerator Discussions in Spring 2023."
