"I am a freshman at the University of Chicago, double majoring in Mathematics and Physics. From a young age, I was always intrigued by numbers and enjoyed Math classes in school. Although the fun of problem-solving initially attracted me to Math, I now appreciate the applications of Mathematics to other subject areas and physical phenomena the most. In the future, I hope to use Mathematics and Physics as a tool to solve real-life problems.
I am a 3x AIME Qualifier (score of 10), top 10 finisher in the Algebra/Calculus rounds of the Berkeley and Stanford Math Tournaments, and winner of the Berkeley Math Tournament Integration Bee.
I began studying at Random Math in 2020, and continued until 2023. Random Math has an awesome community of like-minded students who are willing to collaborate and help each other, making the process of learning Math a lot more enjoyable as well. Random Math was the reason I started taking part in competitions during high school.
During math competitions, I was able to meet BlackPenRedPen numerous times, get his autograph, and take a photo with him after winning the Integration Bee!
I am currently a Teaching Assistant at Random Math, teaching some of the summer camp classes. In the past, I have taught RMX Classes and led discussion sessions for the Accelerator Program."
